Ionic Flat Iron
Question: How is the Ionic Flat Iron different from other flat irons?
Answer: The Ionic Flat Iron is manufactured with Natural Ion Complex to deliver natural negative ions to the hair.
Question: Where is the Natural Ion Complex in the iron?
Answer: The Natural Ion Complex is molded in the heat plate.
Question: What is the main point of difference of the Ionic Flat Iron?
Answer:
The Ionic Flat Iron infuses moisture into the hair shaft and seals the
cuticle as it straightens. It is not necessary to use protective
products when using this iron.
Question: Why are there ridges on the plate?
Answer:
Very curly hair have a wave pattern, even when it is stretched out
straight. The ridged surface on the plates counteracts the wave pattern
to straighten the hair, and creates volume and bounce. It also allows
for better control.
Question: Can this iron be used like a regular flat iron?
Answer:
The Ionic Flat Iron can be used like a regular flat iron, however HAIR
MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY and NO PRODUCT MAY BE USED ON THE HAIR, PRIOR TO
USE.
Question: Do you use the Ionic Flat Iron in the same way as other flat irons?
Answer: The basic operation of the iron is the same as other flat irons, however there are two points to remember:
It is important to take 2 ?"wide by ?" thick sections.
For use with the Ion-Retexturizing System, the basic operation is 3
Slides, 1 Press and 1 Slide. (Please refer to manual)
Question: What is SLIDE and PRESS?
Answer:
SLIDE and PRESS are terms used to describe the straightening action of
the Ionic Flat Iron. SLIDE is the technique of sliding the iron in a
smooth motion to counteract the ridges in the hair. PRESS is the
technique to add body and create bounce, eliminating the "flat" and
"lifeless" look of most conventional straighteners.
Question: Is there a warranty?
Answer: Yes, there is a 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty against manufacturer's defects.
